Best app for flickr!

I loved this app. Great interface and many features. It made me be more engaged in the flickr community because it so easy and gorgeous. I contacted the support of the app and they were so kind and fast that I have to write a review. Keep up the great work! :)

Flickery is a great app.

Flickery does everything it says it does and does it well. Very helpful, prompt email support too.

Great app!

Fully functional, with plenty of features you wouldnt imagine. Buy this app!

But... developer is very helpful

While I do still feel frustrated that Collections are not supported, to his credit, the developer tracked me down and emailed to explain why that was — apparently Flickrs API doesnt permit apps to access Collections to edit or manage. I was impressed by the developers dillegence and will definitely buy his otherwise excellent app when Flickr lets him support Collections.

Bad for searching

The images returned in a search are completely different than the results you get on the flickr site, and they seem to have nothing to do with what I searched for. This is the only reason I downloaded this software, and its just unusable.

It crashes

If you can help me, it would be great! Just spent $15 for an app that crashes.

Fall in love with Flickr again with this software.

On my last trip, I had >700 pics to select, rotate, organize, etc. I tried to do it on the road with an iPad, with lots of frustration. But even at a desktop computer, Organizr falls short of a true asynchronous desktop app like flickery. You quickly zap through the pics, drag, reorder, rename, etc., without having to wait, which is AWESOME. The only thing I could not do straight from the app was changing a picture’s “taken” date (my iPhone and camera pics had a snafu), but at least it allows you to quickly open the picture on Flickr to change that. I’d add some more filtering options (e.g., the ability to filter for “pictures without a title” would have helped me, although it wasn’t hard to select them with the easy-to-use UI. The price is less than I used to pay for an yearly Flickr subscription, and is totally worth it.

Worth the money

Makes organizing flickr photosets much easier.

Pretty Good but missing some important features

Got this app so I can finally organized my 16k pictures I have on flickr. For most of the part it does a good job. However there are few key features it is missing... 1. Map - there is no way to type in an address and add location. You have to always zoom into the place and put a pin. 2. There is no control over your Collections. If those things are implemented it will be a complete product well worth the price, but not yet.

Great app

I love this app but please capitalize it. It drives me nuts sitting there in my applications and being the only one not capped. Thanks!!

Love it!

Worth every penny!

Definitely worth the price!

I have a macbook air and try to keep the SSD as empty as possible relying on web storage. If you have access to the internet most of the time, this is the perfect app for managing your online flickr collection. 4 Stars because there are still more features that could be useful to make this app worth the full price.

Awesome!

Im in love with Flickr again! Worth every penny.

A reason to date Flickr again

Im going to get this out there. As a UI, I hate flickr. I hated downloading greasemonkey to make it possible to upload to more than one group. I hate the clunky UI and the fact its just not as pretty as it should be. Flickery will change all of that for you. First, Its a native feel, it looks like Aperture 3. I have Aperture, but I dont like it managing my Flickr Stream as it just doesnt feel natural. This makes the transition and uploads smoother, Its easy to upload. I like the way it makes groups, excellent. Second, Its great with locations. I can find pictures near me, in an area. I love the fact itll make searching and making new ideas on flickr possible. II wont be worring about any kind of block. I will click on an area and instantly have ideas. Thats just included in the UI of this. Third, Commenting. Commenting is natural in feel, easy to interact with. I love that its a side menu pop-in. So is EXIF data, and information about the picture. All of this has a very "apple" feel to it. I love its clean features, its easy to use. If youre a flickr Pro? You need this. If youre a flickr newbie? Youll adore this, and itll enrich flickr. Youd be mistaken not to buy this. A+ app.

Incredible!

Worth 3 times the price in my opinion. It has even cooler features than I expected or than what was listed. Get it while it is on sale. Its a steal. I will be searching Flickr on a regular basis now because of this app

BEST EVER!!!!

THIS IS THE BEST FLICKR APP EVER. YAHOO SHOULD BUY THIS!!!

Just great!

Its really worth its money! Its simple and easy! Love especially that you can download more than one image at a time!

good presentation but flaky

Great alternative to the web site, but Im not sure if its because I have about 6000 pictures in my account with 60 or sets, and theyre fairly large pictures (18mp camera), but it will work ok for the first 30 or so pictures while browsing full screen, but then I get glitches. It will stop displaying pictures full screen, the full screen button wont work, it wont load any more thumbnails. Occasionally pictures get off center so Im only seeing the top right quadrant. Othertimes it does eventually work, but it takes a long time to respond. I dont know how well it works for changing sets and photo information on-line, but Im a little hesitant to use it for that purpose. I do have a pretty fast cable connection, so thats not the problem. Admittedly I am using it on an old Core 2 duo iMac, but it is up to date 10.6.7 and has 3gb of ram. Maybe if the hold up is related to processing large image, the developer could give the option of using the 1024x1024 versions of the photos flickr makes available. If it worked more reliably, I could see giving it 5 stars. Hard for me to use as is right now. Update: my bad, I hadnt restarted my computer in awhile, it worked much better after that.

Fantastic for blogging!

My wife takes pictures. Lots of them. We use flickr. We blog. Imagine a blog post with 20 pictures. Now imagine how many clicks it would take to grab all these pictures html code one-by-one and paste them into the blog post. Lots. Of. Time. Wasted. With flickery, I can select the photos I want, click "share on website" and the code for all those pictures is instantly there for me to grab in one neat bundle. Done. Fantastic support. With the now implemented improvements (grab the code in Chronological order, different size photos, no caption, etc.) blogging has once again become blazing fast. Thank you flickery!

Great app, will be better with a few tweaks

I think this app is great, I love having the functionality of iPhoto without thousands of photos encumbering your hard drive. A must have for flickr users if you can handle the (imho) slightly high price. Its great to have the "explore" and "nearby" searches built in and they work much like albums in iPhoto. Improvement suggestions: Integration with Facebook. You can already share with twitter in-app and itd be nice to do the same with fb The trackpad sensitivity is way too high, one flick sends you through a ton of photos. implementing these will earn 5 star review from this user
